Digitalization Specialist at Heby Municipality

The Role

You will be organizationally positioned directly under the operations manager and belong to the administration's staff. Together with the operations, you will drive the development of our digital solutions within preschool, school, and adult education.

• You will train in digital tools and clarify their benefits to users.
• You will assess the current situation and analyze needs to provide support in automation and development of processes that benefit employees, students, and guardians.
• You will translate the needs of the operations into feasible digitalization projects in consultation with management, employees, suppliers, consultants, and the IT unit.
• You will lead projects from feasibility study to implementation.
• You will ensure the benefits of the process, develop clear routines, and coordinate projects with resource allocation, documentation, follow-up, and analysis.
• You will participate in cross-municipal work with digital development.
• Participate in procurements and purchases and be responsible for central agreements, PUB agreements, and licenses.
• You will drive development with automation, data-driven analysis, and AI as tools.
• You will be a support and sounding board for the operations in digital issues and participate in various networks both internally and externally.

Is This You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education with a focus on digitalization and IT, or is a trained educator/teacher with extensive experience in digitalization issues.
• Experience in process mapping of digital flows as well as development and implementation of new digital working methods.
• Experience in coordination, documentation, requirement specification, and collaboration with system suppliers. Some experience in system management.
• Pedagogical ability to explain IT-related issues in a clear and understandable way.
• Good communication skills in speech and writing.
• Experience in leading projects.
• Basic knowledge of procurement.

You have good project management skills and a structured and independent working style. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
